Meet the Doula.
Hello and welcome! My name is Emily Thompson. I am a Christian, a wife, and a mama to four little ladies. Every day is a sweet new adventure! I’m a DONA International certified birth doula, and a midwife’s assistant with Hattiesburg Midwifery, serving the Hattiesburg, MS area.
My passion for birth began during my first pregnancy. My husband and I took an extensive birth class that opened my eyes to all the options I had for my labor and birth. We read all the books, hired a doula, and had an amazing first birth! I felt empowered, educated, and supported.
After my own beautiful births, I knew I wanted to help other families have positive birth experiences as well. As a doula, I have the amazing opportunity to support women as they grow their families. My goal as your doula is to help you feel informed, supported, and confident throughout your pregnancy, labor, and transition to life with your newborn.
